Islamic Foundation School is fully accredited by the North Central Association and is recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education. Since its inception in 1986, Islamic Foundation School has embarked on a mission to provide excellent education in an atmosphere of faith, and to prepare students to be life-long learners and contributing members of society. Eighteen years later, Islamic Foundation is a full-time PK-12 school offering academic programs in addition to religious education. Islamic Foundation School has established a name for itself in the Chicagoland community as a school that offers quality education in an Islamic environment. As a result, Muslim families from a forty square mile radius of Villa Park, who desired the Islamic Foundation experience for their children have contributed to making Islamic Foundation School a school serving about 750 students, one of the largest Islamic schools in North America. The school is located approximately 25 miles west of downtown Chicago in the residential suburban community in Villa Park.
