WHAT IS VISION PTA?
PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association. Vision PTA is the name of IFS School’s PTA. Vision PTA is registered with the National and State PTA Association.
WHAT DOES VISION PTA DO?
Vision PTA works to support the school, teachers, parents, and most importantly, the students. The support is accomplished in fundraising, volunteerism, school spirit (Ramadan/Eid Decorations, Field Day, Quran Book It), organizing educational assemblies, and resolving school issues directly involving our students and teachers.
To organize the above, Vision PTA has about once a month meetings. At these meetings, committees give their reports on how they are coming along and ask for help in accomplishing their goals.
HOW DO “I” AS PARENT AND/OR TEACHER GET INVOLVED?
Very simple, just become a member by paying a $5 annual membership fee.Your name will be added to the Vision PTA membership roster, you will receive your membership card.
WHAT ADVANTAGE DO I HAVE FOR BEING A MEMBER?
By being a member you have a right to vote on issues brought in the meeting.
You are kept informed of Vision PTA activities and events, thru email or letter.
You are supporting, as well as, participating in a group that has a vision to constantly improve your child’s school.
You also allowed to know Vision PTA accounts.
You can attend National and State PTA Conventions and local meetings.
IS VISION PTA ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE SCHOOL AND ADMINISTRATION?
For the past 6 years, Vision PTA has worked very diligently in having a respected rapport with the school and administration. Every year the school board, administration, and staff have taken action on suggestions and designs brought forth by Vision PTA
